Well, I was wrong. The Cordlife association certainly didn't help.

It’s so easy to lapse into not writing, even though I haven’t got any reasons not to.

Reading though last year’s notes, I said I was tempted to buy into Clearbridge, and I did punt a small amount. It certainly did not move the right way, and I ended up having a 50% loss. I did learn my lesson about investing in stocks that has low liquidity - in the absence of news (good or bad), there’s no easy way to get out, aside from selling at punitive losses.

However, that isn’t a reason to deter me. The key is to make sure that I right-size my positions so that I don’t end up being a ‘stuckist’.
